This is a very famous village with more than 100 households living there. Hand pump has been installed in one hamlet of Bajeer Muslim Community. We couldn’t see any people around the pump as we arrived in the village. Perhaps they were in the field to plough their land after rain in thar. Later, a few people came and welcomed us. The villagers said they don’t use water from this hand pump. We tested and found it brackish. Even animals can’t drink. It was used only for washing and cleaning. They used to fetch water from Dug Well. That is a little far away but drinkable. In the village there are different hamlets. However, other hamlets requested a tube well for agriculture. I have asked Santosh to visit it on another day.
