Ehsan Charity organised a prestigious fundraising gala dinner at the renowned Royal Nawaab Restaurant in Manchester, bringing together over 300 prominent political, social, and business figures from across the UK. The landmark event aimed to raise vital funds for humanitarian projects focused on education, healthcare, and clean drinking water in some of Pakistan’s most underdeveloped and remote regions, including Thar and Balochistan.
The evening was gracefully hosted by Mr. Naeem Raza, who set an inspiring and compassionate tone for the programme. The event commenced with a soulful recitation of the Holy Quran, creating a reflective atmosphere for a night dedicated to service and generosity.
Distinguished Guests and Community Leadership
Among the notable attendees were Pakistan’s Consul Commercial Attaché Awais Hussain, former Member of Parliament Faisal Qureshi, former Mayor of Bury Councillor Shahina Haroon, and Councillor Naila Sharif, alongside many respected community leaders and philanthropists.
A Global Network United for Change

-
UK Directors: Dr. Amir Ehsan and Dr. Noman Ehsan

Pakistan Director: Tahir Ehsan

Core Humanitarian Focus
Speakers highlighted that Ehsan Charity’s mission is rooted in providing life’s basic necessities with dignity and transparency. The organisation is currently working across four critical sectors:
-
Clean Drinking Water – Installation of water wells, hand pumps, and tube wells, often delivering water directly to household doorsteps.
-
Healthcare Services – Free medical camps, clinics, surgeries, and emergency healthcare in remote and underserved communities.
-
Food & Clothing Support – Essential aid during Ramadan, winter months, and times of crisis.
-
Waste Management & Sanitation – Community-based cleanliness initiatives to improve public health and living standards.
Unmatched Transparency and Accountability
One of the defining features of Ehsan Charity is its commitment to financial integrity. The leadership confirmed that 98% of all public donations are delivered directly to beneficiaries, as administrative and marketing expenses are covered through personal and family support. Donors are also provided with 100% traceability, allowing them to see exactly where and how their contributions are used—often with projects named in the donor’s honour. Local teams continue to monitor projects even after completion to ensure long-term sustainability.
Voices of Support
In his keynote address, former MP Faisal Qureshi described Ehsan Charity as a vital humanitarian bridge between the UK and Pakistan. Councillor Shahina Haroon and other speakers praised the organisation’s focus on neglected regions such as Thar and Balochistan, noting that restoring dignity and opportunity to these communities represents a truly noble cause.
A Night of Purpose and Unity
The evening concluded with a collective prayer for the prosperity and wellbeing of Pakistan, followed by a heartfelt appeal to the Pakistani diaspora to continue supporting humanitarian efforts. Guests later enjoyed a traditional dinner, marking the close of a successful and inspiring night dedicated to compassion, unity, and meaningful change.
