On the 24th of December 2023, an impactful Diabetic Awareness Seminar and Free Medical Camp took place in District Malir, Zone Karachi, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Al-Mustafa Organization. Over 109 individuals participated in the event, undergoing comprehensive medical tests. Shockingly, 50 participants were diagnosed with diabetes during the camp. In an effort to empower these individuals to manage their condition effectively, they were provided with glucometers and test strips, ensuring a year-long supply. The compassionate staff also dedicated time to train these individuals on the proper usage of the glucometer, enabling them to monitor their blood sugar levels on a weekly basis. This initiative not only aimed to raise awareness about diabetes but also took a significant step towards improving the lives of those affected by the condition in the community.
